iTunes U 2.0 For iOS Released

Apple’s iTunes U application for the iPad and iPhone had remained forgotten for a long time till now when its new upgraded edition came up. After receiving quite a major bump in its features, the 2.0 version of the app, which was announced last week, is available for download. The improvements have been directed towards the students and teachers who can now make more use out of the app. with this application, the Apple devices including iPhone, iPod touch and the iPad can be made more useful for learning and teaching purposes.

The improvements have brought in some amazing new features to the app. This is going to be quite useful for the teachers because they will not only be able to update the courses but also new ones from scratch from the iPad. Teachers can also take advantage of the feature that allows them to create course materials inside apps like Pages, Numbers and Keynotes and import the content into the iTunes U.

There is also some significant improvement for the students as well as they are going to find that asking questions from teachers who are running private courses has become much easier. Other students will also be allowed to join in for discussion by providing useful answers or asking more questions that can help others too.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
