Game of Thrones tops the nominations of this year's Emmy Awards. HBO's fantasy series is being nominated in 19 categories.

Game of Thrones received most nominations at this year's Emmy Awards. 66th annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented on August 25th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Seth Meyers will host the award ceremony. 

HBO's hit fantasy series nominated in 19 categories included the best drama series and comedy series nominations. Game of Thrones is followed by Fargo with 18 nominations and Breaking Bad with 16 nominations including the best drama series category too. 

Game of Thrones has to compete against Downton Abbey, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, House of Cards, and True Detective to get the best drama series Emmy award.
