She tweeted a loving message for all her fans

Fans are certainly not so happy about the idea of the abrupt cancellation of Ariana Grande’s show ‘Sam & Cat’ and it ended even before it could get through its first season. She addressed the loving fans as she tweeted a loving message that said “I felt it wasn’t my place to make any sort of announcement so I kept quiet until now. I want to thank Nickelodeon for making a childhood dream of mine come true, for being a family to me, for being so accommodating and supportive of my multitasking with my music career, and for of course introducing me to many of my fans however many years ago.”

She referred to her fans as the “most loyal, dedicated and continuously loving supporters I could ever imagine” and thanked them for loving her and appreciating her work. Ariana Grande played the character of Cat and she was even thankful to the director Dan Schneider along with the cast and crew. However, one surprising bit was that she didn’t mention her co-star Jennette McCurdy.

With McCurdy coming from “iCarly” and Grande coming from “Victorious”, the show was an instant hit on the kids’ favorite Nickelodeon channel and was also the network’s highest rated show. The show’s schedule was quite demanding with a 40 episode schedule and at the start of this year we had heard rumors about a rift between the two co-stars as well as some friction on the set. With four episodes still remaining to be shot, the show was put to a halt in April and the 36th episode was the season’s finale.
