Angelina Jolie aka Tomb Raider has teamed up with her husband Brad Pitt and the two are making a movie together. The title of the film is “By the Sea” and Angie will be scriptwriting and directing it to boot.
Brad Pitt will produce the flick. His production company Plan B Entertainment that recently produced 12 Years a Slave and HBO's The Normal Heart, will produce “By the Sea” too.
It is supposed to be a movie which will show things at close quarters. The dramatic action will unfold in the film as characters that interact with each other.
The head of the studio which was making the movie commended Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as the most distinguished couple in all of Hollywood. It would be a pleasure making a movie with the two in it.
“Angelina continues to showcase her extraordinary storytelling abilities in front of and behind the camera and we are thrilled to extend our relationship with her on 'By the Sea,'” said Universal chair Donna Langley in a statement.
“Angelina and Brad represent two of Hollywood’s brightest talents and we are excited to be a part of their collaboration on this powerful piece.”
Jolie is currently wrapping things up for Unbroken which Olympic athlete portrays Louis Zamperini’s life. Unbroken is based on Laura Hillenbrand's bestselling book Zamperini who died on July 2 at age 97.

“I am very happy to continue my relationship with Donna and the entire Universal team as I finish 'Unbroken' and begin work on 'By The Sea,'" Jolie said in the statement.
"They have created a very special place for storytellers, and I look forward to the continued passion and support they have provided to me as a filmmaker.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met about a decade ago when they acted in the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Brad was married to Jennifer Aniston of Friends fame back then. Angelina was later on labeled as a Womb Raider instead of a Tomb Raider when she and Brad got married.
This is the first time the couple in real life will appear on screen too after 2005's successful venture of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Angelina especially was quite excited and exhilarated about finishing off Unbroken and starting By the Sea.
She is putting all the necessary mental and physical effort into the making of By the Sea. Whether Brad and Angie’s children will appear in the movie is a moot point.
They might or they might not, depending upon the mood of the studio and the couple. If this happens, it will be a family affair alright. Angelina is a genius in her own right.
She spoke of how she had penned the script for herself and Brad a couple of years ago. Today, when the two are finally doing it together in the form of a movie, it really felt good.
"I wrote something a few years ago for Brad and me. Just for fun. Just an independent little art piece. Because we don't get to do those as much as we'd like. But it's something really small and experimental," Angelina told E! News back in May.
