Queen Elizabeth II will be there at the first birthday bash of Prince George. Where would the celebration be without the great-grandmotherly presence of the elderly matriarch?
The one year old son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and Prince William, is going to be a birthday boy tomorrow. And his great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who is a ripe 88 years old, will especially be attending the function.

Kensington Palace is the venue where the birthday will be held. Kate and William will enjoy the festivities in their apartment with near and dear ones.
There were rumors regarding the queen to the effect that she was to be the guest of honor. But they have proven to be false.
According to Hello! Magazine, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will hold the bash inside their apartment along with close family members, friends, and the Prince's godparents, however Clarence House has denied claims the Queen will be considered the guest of honour."
The Duke of Edinburgh will probably not be able to attend the auspicious event due to certain business elsewhere.
And Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall (grandparents of Prince George) too will most likely not be able to come to the one year old’s birthday either since they are on vacation. Kate’s mother too held a party in honor of her little grandson but it was on a small scale.
Among the presents that the tiny tot George will receive on his very first birthday are a wooden choo choo train set from both his parents and a bakery item from his nanny who is a Spanish senorita.
The latest photo shoot of George depicted a very cute kid who was bonny and full of pep and energy. The cute little kid with his hands reaching out and an innocent smile on his face made many a parent cry tears of joy and adoration for that beautiful period in our lives that is childhood.
Meanwhile, Prince George spent some time in the summer heat in Balmoral Castle in Scotland with his mom and dad. It is a royal niche spread over 50,000 acres of forest land and woods.
The young prince got a chance to cavort about in the boat pool in the area. There will be lots other activities that the tyke will be partaking in. All in all, it is a fun time for the little prince who is so lucky to have been born into royalty.
