Funny man Weird Al Yankovic is back with a new album titled Mandatory fun. The album contains a bunch of parodies of famous pop songs. Weird Al took the video platforms by storm releasing 8 music videos in 8 days. Many of them went viral.
The new parody songs of Weird Al include titles of Pharrell and Iggy Azalea. Weird Al sat down with TV legend Larry King to discuss his new success and future plans. He revealed that Mandatory Fun is probably his last album as singles are more timely way to release.
During his Larry King Now interview, Al also dished on how he chooses the right song to parody, obtained the name Weird Al and hinted at his upcoming plans for Broadway.
“It’s kind of on a whim. I look for songs who have a unique musical or lyrical hook, something that really jumps out at you when you hear it on the radio and it really boils down to whether or not I can come up with a clever enough idea for it,” said Weird Al.

The full Larry King Now episode with Weird Al will air online at Ora.tv and Hulu.com on July 29th at 5 pm ET.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
