However, the most recent news about the phone is not related to the hardware or software specs; a report published from ‘The Information’ tells us something that is here to stay. The latest debates about whether the phone is going to feature the NFC or not have been to rest because the latest piece of information on the phone tells us that as far as payment methods are concerned, Apple would be using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as its way of handling that. This is clear enough to realize that in order to fulfill their side of the transaction, the retailers will have to get whole new hardware.
The report also suggests that Apple has been working closely with some leading and the best known financial partners to come up with a system which would allow shoppers to pay for goods and services using their iPhones. Apple has already made clear that these financial tit bits are going to be kept safe and the data will be away from the rest of the system.
