Nicole Murphy recently spoke on her split with Michael Strahan. The two will remain good friends though.
Nicole Murphy said that the rift between her and Michael Strahan would not be a cause of any ill will or enmity between the two. Rather the two would continue to be on amiable terms with each other.
But from the looks of it, her body language belied the truth that she was deeply hurt and would probably not be in touch with Michael any time in the future.
While out for lunch, Nicole said that everything was okay between her and Michael. According to TMZ, Nicole claimed, "It's all good" ... between her and Strahan.
But the facts speak otherwise. Michael was absolutely shocked by her speaking about the chasm between them. And he was accused of infidelity by her in a hotel much to his embarrassment.
"Nicole first got wind Michael might be dating another woman in early July and started investigating ... the way scorned women do," a source close to the couple told TMZ.
"She was finally convinced it was true on Friday and immediately decided to go public."
Nicole and ex-NBA star Jimmy Jackson too had their reclusive romance about 30 days ago. It looks like Nicole had a lot of guts and the acting ability to say something that was not true without flinching.
While Strahan is going crazy for Nicole, she appears to be as cool as a cucumber as regards her breakup with Strahan. Let’s not forget that Strahan has been her fiancé since the past half decade or so.
"It had been the longest engagement ever," says a source close to Murphy.
"She would always get so defensive about it, saying, 'We're taking our time, we're taking our time,' and all of her girlfriends on the show would always push her," the source says. "It had obviously become a point of contention [for her]."
Nicole was also spotted with ex-NBA star, Gary Payton. Nicole had dumped Strahan at the oddest moment, when he was being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Nicole insists "her timing wasn't out of revenge, rather a total coincidence because that's when she knew for sure. It just happened to come precisely when Michael was getting the greatest honor of his career."
But people close to the two say that there was a storm brewing since a long time. Nicole was getting more and more jealous with the passage of time and finally she decided to do something about it.
Other sources told TMZ that "Nicole and Michael have been broken up for several weeks -- and, in fact, their bi-coastal relationship has been on and off for almost 2 years ... since Michael took the 'Live' gig."
She announced their breakup on a one-sided basis and there ended a perfectly good relationship.
"They've been having problems for two years and have been off and on throughout," another source told PEOPLE. "Him dating someone would come as no surprise to Nicole."
Celebs and other VIPs have huge and oversized egos which cannot tolerate anybody else differing from their opinion at all.
A similar case seems to be evident here. It’s the little things that have big effects in the end. And Nicole was just looking to get rid of Michael Strahan. So any excuse would have suited her interests.
