Charlize Theron is reportedly upset after Tia Mowry spoke out about an icy encounter she had with the star at a Los Angeles SoulCycle studio

How Tia Mowry shared her disappointing introduction to Charlize Theron at a Los Angeles SoulCycle studio was certainly very inappropriate and it has left the Oscar winning star fuming with anger. Mowry spoke to the InTouch magazine back in July and revealed that she was literally snubbed by the “Prometheus” star upon being introduced at the class. From Mowry’s point of view we can see why the two didn’t get along with each other since the very beginning. “She wasn’t very nice to me. I said ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God,’” Mowry said. She added that her approach wasn’t “over–the-top” and “Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

Theron on the other hand wasn’t very fond of the way Tia Mowry behaved and in retaliation she went straight to the management of the studio and went so far as to request that they ban Mowry from attending future classes at the studio.

According to an insider, “Charlize came in so p****d off after Tia went to the tabloids about her, and she demanded we bar Tia from ever coming back. When the manager refused, Charlize just got angrier and said she’d go to the top to make it happen.” However, Theron’s requests were put down by the management and this further aggravated the situation causing Theron to make rude remarks. She reportedly said that “This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me, but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers-on in your studio?”
