Production facilities are now beginning work on new iPads
The iPads that have been in a slump over the past year might be gaining a new chance at life as Apple Balla now saying that there are larger iPads now entering production.

Part of the long awaited upgrade to the iPad is an enhanced processor, a more powerful graphics processor, and a larger screen that will measure out to 9.7 inches. This upgraded model could be what it takes to put the iPad sales back on track. After a year of iPhone sale records, the iPad sales have been in a slump that Apple is attempting to get out of.
There is also a new iPad Mini in production, according to the report, that will measure 7.9 inches. There hasn’t been much said about what we can expect from the new iPad mini model, although it will certainly come with a more powerful processor to keep up with other small tablets that have been released in the past few years.
These will both be important since they have now had to compete with other Microsoft tablets, among others, that are essentially laptop computers that can function in the same way. In doing this, they have taken back much of the market that Apple once commanded.
With other products expected to be released this year, a late 2014 release for both of these could help Apple have a record setting year that is far and away better than anything they have experienced in the past.
