E! news reported that the 31-year-old celebrated by indulging in a little bit of maternity yoga earlier in the day, joined fiancé Ashton Kutcher for a tasty celebration last night in honor of her 31st birthday. The pair went out to a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles, and grabbed ice cream for dessert at the Sweet Rose Creamery.
"They were very hands on—hugging, holding hands throughout the night," the insider tells us. "They waited in a long line, holding on to one another the entire time. They appeared happy and seemed as if they were really enjoying themselves. If Ashton got her a gift, he gave it to her in private."
"They were very playful, grooving to the music playing in the shop, and clearly just really focused on and into each other!" an eyewitness tells Us Weekly of the couple.
"He was totally doting on her — rubbing her belly and opening the door for her," the onlooker adds. "They looked so in love and were acting goofy!"
The couple have been quiet about their relationship over the course of the last year. Kunis did open up earlier in an interview that she thought she would never get married, and was happy to have Kutcher back in her life after growing up with him by starring in the hit TV series " That 70's Show."
Kunis mentioned how she wanted to go about the birth of their first child together to Marie Claire magazine in the July 2014 issue.
In February, the world learned that couple were indeed engaged, immediately followed by the good news that they were expecting their first child together. However, Kunis‘ due date remains a mystery. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she announced her due date as “sometime this year.”
“Two people are allowed in my delivery room: my doctor and my significant other,” she said. “And [my future husband] is staying above the action. He’ll be head to head. Not head to vag. Unless he wants to risk his life and see. But I wouldn’t if I were him.
“I highly doubt he wants to see that being ripped apart and shredded,” Kunis added. “Because it will be shredded. It’s just a matter of how badly.”
