The cables appear to be Boxed and ready for September 9th.
In another leak pertaining to the iPhone 6, we have seen pictures of the packaging of the reconditioned Lightning Cable by Apple. The photos appear to have been leaked by the courtesy of Sonny Dickson and these packaged cables are said to be reversible this time around. By reversible we mean that the users will be allowed to insert the cable into a USB port any way up. We have also got some insight into Apple’s patent filing for the cable which explains that the cable has been made reversible to minimize the “user frustration” and cut back on accidental damage.
Don't Miss: Hottest CES 2017 Announcements
These pictures of the retail boxes have confirmed that these cables are not just on the drawing board as yet in fact they really do exist and Apple is certainly planning to introduce them along with their upcoming sixth generation iPhone which is going to be announced next month. One of the pictures also shows how this cable looks like stacked up next to a phone and though it doesn’t reveal anything new for the cable, it is just one of the perspectives you would like to see the phone in. As far as the iPhone is concerned, both the versions are expected to be announced next month and while the 4.7 inch version will hit the shelves in September, the other 5.5 inch version is subject to some delay.
