Bryan Cranston, who plays the role of drug baron Walter White, said that he was going nowhere when he discovered acting as a profession. That was when he made it big.
He told all the world’s good-for-nothings not to give up on their dreams since doing so would be tantamount to accepting failure.
"Even I thought about voting for Matthew," said Cranston while accepting the award. "My own family nicknamed me Sneaky Pete."
"I don't know why I have been blessed with an abundance of good fortune in my life," he added. "I did happen to stumble upon finding a passion that created a seed and bloomed into something so wonderful for me. I love to act and it is a passion of mine, and I will do it until my last breath."
"I'd like to dedicate this award to all the 'Sneaky Petes' of the world who thought that maybe settling for mediocrity was a good idea because it was safe," Cranston said. "Don't do it. take a chance. Take risk. Find that passion, rekindle it. It's really worth it. God bless you."
For every individual on this earth there shines a star. Aaron Paul, who played Cranston’s right hand man on the show, also got a nomination.
This is not the first time that Breaking Bad has won approval at the Emmys. The same thing happened last year. There were several other drama series that also won individual Emmys for their entertainment value.
Modern Family was one of them and so was The Good Wife. The Big Bang Theory, Veep and The Amazing Race were others in the list. The Normal Heart, Sherlock: His Last Vow and Fargo got nominated and won awards too.
A huge tribute was given to the late Robin Williams who died sometime back. Robin had made so many laugh by his comedic antics. He was a true entertainer and actor par excellence.
The fact that he was suffering from chronic depression and finally took his life due to the fact that he could not cope with the pain is proof that this man was a stoic soul.
We owe a lot to Robin and the groundwork he laid for comedy routines that followed his hilarious skits in various movies.
