The high speed collision in 2012 caused damage worth $80,000
When it comes to troubles, Lindsay Lohan isn’t unusual to them at all and she got into a major one when her car collided with a lorry. According to what the reports tells us, the driver of the damaged vehicle has agreed for a settlement outside of the court with the American actress. The 27 year old Lohan wrote off her rented Porsche 911S following the crash with a semi-truck, which she rear-ended during a collision on the Pacific Coast Highway in 2012. The accident caused damage worth $80,000.
Thankfully there were no injuries and no one seemed to have been hurt as a result of the high speed collision but still she got herself in some trouble. She later claimed that her personal assistant was driving at the time of the accident. The report from TMZ states that the lorry driver, James Johnson, was quite upset but has now agreed to a settlement outside of the court with Lindsay Lohan. The information is also confirmed from the driver’s lawyer, Carrington Snyder from the Vititoe Law Group, who stated that his client had agreed to a financial settlement of some sort with the advisors of Lindsay.
We are glad to know that the actress has taken responsibility for the accident and she is clear about her part in this but she will not take a monetary loss in the undisclosed pay out, which will be made by her insurance company.
