Miss Kentucky and Miss Oklahoma have made it in the next round of the Miss America 2015 contest.
The second day of the Miss America 2015 contest began with some very beautiful faces and svelte figures presenting themselves before the avid crowd. They had their sashes around their torsos and shoulders respectively.

Two from the many were gifted with today’s nominations. One of these was Miss Kentucky, Ramsey Carpenter. Her fiddling on the violin to the accompaniment of such songs as “Sally Goodin” and “Orange Blossom Special” won the crowd’s hearts.
As for the second contestant, Miss Oklahoma, Alex Eppler, she was present in a pink swimsuit and got a grand as scholarship prize money.
Meanwhile, the Academy of Honor Award was presented to a gentleman named Mansfield Bias whose two decade long dedication and commitment to the Miss America contest is worthy of admiration indeed. He got five grand as token scholarship.
As for the biggest fundraisers for the organization, they were Miss South Carolina, Miss Georgia and Miss Louisiana. And the $6000 Quality of Life Award went to Miss Alabama.
Caitlin Brunell, who is Miss Alabama, lost everything her family and she had in a fire that engulfed their home once. But she built her life back from scratch and is a very beautiful survivor and truly genuine optimist today.
She deserves all the praise in the world for showing the world that a person is bigger than his or her environment. Miss Deleware, Brittany Lewis, won four grand as scholarship money too.
She is all for the struggle against domestic violence. And last but not least, Miss Maryland, Jade Kenny, received $2000 for working on helping people get over the loss of a loved one.
The grief process involves lending them a shoulder to cry on. All these wonderful and soulfully beautiful women have gathered on one platform to celebrate life in its hundred billion affirmative aspects.
They are proof that order and not chaos rules the universe. By slowly working towards the accomplishment of many causes such as ending violence or lending relief, these brave babes have made the saying “love will save the day” a living and breathing reality.
