Marvel has always been a great source of entertainment and its comics have sold in the millions. The frisson of excitement and adventure that is given to the audiences is something that no other entity on the planet could lend them. It is indeed a form of mass hypnosis.
"Marvel's brand of entertainment is a thrill ride for audiences, and we're excited to be adding their next five blockbusters to TNT's arsenal of high-quality genre fare," said Deborah Bradley (via AceShowbiz), senior VP, head of program acquisitions, content strategy and licensing for Turner Broadcasting System. "These movies will play a key role in TNT's long-term success, especially among key adult demos."
And TNT’s various categories will soon be replete with Marvel’s extra-action flicks. The movies that will come TNT’s way are not just any old standard fare. They include some of the most thrilling and filling entertainment ever viewed by mankind.
Among the panoply of movies may be included: Captain America 3 (hits theaters May 6, 2016), Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Dr. Strange. Those already purchased include Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk.
The official narrative of The Avengers: Age of Ultron, goes something like this…Iron Man is the reason behind Ultron. Tony Stark is shown setting up a peaceful coexistence program on earth which of course turns out to have unexpected results.
Some of the greatest superheroes on the face of the planet (think Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye) are forced to employ every ounce of talent and superpower at their disposal to avenge the defeat dealt by the mighty and destructive Ultron.
"Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance," Marvel states in official synopsis.
"As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
Thus there is havoc on a planetary level. Ultron personifies everything that is evil and cruel. In order to halt his progress the ultimate weapons are used but to no avail.
Robert Downey Jr. plays Iron Man, as he always has. The handsome Chris Evans is Captain America. As for the character of Thor, it is enacted in a realistic manner by Chris Hemsworth. And Mark Ruffalo is The Incredible Hulk, a role which suits him to a T.
Finally, James Spader is the nefarious Ultron, who is hell bent on destroying humanity. The show displays the features of an epic saga portraying the age-old conflict between good and evil. May Day 2015 will be the release date for this film.
