We can tell that this craziness is all heightened up ever since Apple announced that they won’t have enough units of the phone initially and just a limited number of iPhone purchases can be made. The stock is likely to finish quickly and we can see how both the iPhones have broken previous iPhone records due to their increasing popularity right after being unveiled by Apple a few days back. The 4 million pre orders placed last Friday when sales began broke the previous records of the iPhone.
One of the highest demands for the phones also comes from the carriers in the US who have been delaying the delivery dates of the phone till October. Much of the popularity of these phones can be accounted to the larger screens which have finally brought a fresh change to Apple’s contemporary look. As we already know, the iPhone 6 is 4.7 inches large and the iPhone 6 Plus sports a 5.5 inch display, thus making it fall under the phablet category. Apple couldn’t take it anymore and it was time to bring some change to the larger screen market which had been dominated by Samsung since a very long time.
Both the iPhones also come with improved and tons of new features including reachability. The users have been given the comfort of reaching anything at the top of the screen by just double tapping which makes the display slide down. This feature is going to be loved by those who are usually multitasking. Apple has also announced its new payment system under the name of Apple Pay which serves as the company's digital wallet and will debut in October.
Finally moving on to the pricing of the iPhones, the iPhone 6 with a two year contract begins with $199 for a 16 GB configuration, $299 for 64 GB and $399 for a 128 GB. The iPhone 6 Plus on the other hand starts at $299 (16 GB), $399 (64 GB) and $499 (128 GB). Both phones come in three colors: gold, silver and space gray.
