Jennifer Hudson and her fiancé, David Otunga, have a strange relationship. And the whole deal between them seems a conundrum of sorts.

Jennifer Hudson and her fiancé David Otunga have been together for half a dozen years. Yet they haven’t tied the knot with each other. And to top that all, they have a 5 year old child named David Jr.

Since the past few months especially they have been doing their own thing. The link between them seems to be very weak indeed. The last time they were seen in each others company was at the Ronald Reagan National Airport.

Recently, the songstress’s 33rd birthday got celebrated with razzmatazz. And while Otunga posted a pic of him and his wife on Instagram, the two are often not close enough to each other to signify any love or understanding whatsoever.

Even at the red carpet, Hudson was all alone and there was no sign of Otunga for miles.  Up until now at least a wedding ceremony has fallen flat on its face thanks to the differences between the two.

Four years ago, the preparations for a nuptials event were underway when things again came to naught. By now things have progressed to a level of such rigidity that any chances of marriage are a lost cause.

The two just don’t see eye to eye. Wendy Williams asked the singer in an interview why she had taken so long and what her intentions were. Jennifer replied that she never wanted to get divorced.

And if she got married off the bat then there were chances that a future separation would occur. She never ever wanted such a thing to happen so that was the major reason behind her refusal to commit.

Commitment-phobia aside, there is the fact that sometimes compatibility is such a big issue between two people. Love is a strange and irrational force and some have even called it a psychotic madness.

We all fall in love and we all fall out of love. Nothing is so concrete that it ought to be gone through mindlessly without prior thought and deliberation.
