The Chilean forward was seen with an ice packet after he was taken off from the game against Galatasaray.

Last night Arsenal played in the Champions League against the Turkish side Galatasaray. Alexis Sanchez gave a good performance but he was injured by the Brazilian Felipe Melo and the Brazilian only got a booking for his late challenge on the Chilean.

Alexis was soon substituted after the challenge and he was seen holding an ice packet over the injured region. The tackle was on his foot and Sanchez continued to add ice as he was sitting on the bench.

In the post-match interview, the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger claimed that the Chilean is alright and he was taken off because of tactical reasons. He also added that he will be available for the match against Chelsea this weekend.

The French manager also said that Jack Wilshere is also going to be available for the match and he will play full 90 minutes. Arsene Wenger also claims that Felipe Melo should had been sent off for the tackle on Alexis.

When Wilshere came on in the second half, he also didn’t look sharp as he was struggling from the same injury. But Arsene will hope that both of his players will be available for the London derby next weekend against Chelsea.

Danny Welbeck scored a hat-trick last night and it reminded the Arsenal fans of their beloved Thierry Henry. Welbeck joins the elite group of stars who have scored hat-tricks on a Champions League night including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen.

Plus next week the Arsenal fans will be booing Fabregas who was their captain once in the away stands. Both Arsenal and Chelsea have elite players and this would be one beautiful game.

We have the German playmaker Ozil, Danny Welbeck (who scored a hat-trick) and Alexis Sanchez with Arsenal. And when we look at Chelsea they too have a line of great players including Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Oscar and Fabregas. Chelsea will be favorites for the game as they have a far superior midfield and defense.
