Ezra Miller who appeared in “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” is to play the role of The Flash in Warner Brothers’ movie of the same name which will come out four years from now.

Warner Brothers is a name which is synonymous with big time entertainment. That means it mesmerizes audiences on a worldwide level with its theatrical showmanship. Today, the studio bosses have got the man they wanted for filling in the character of The Flash.

Ezra Miller will be the person who will be appearing in the 2018 film. He may be a slightly weird choice for entering the crimson suit of the superhero but he is definitely spot on as far as Warner Brothers are concerned. The studio execs like to take risks and expand their repertoire beyond the tried and tested.

That is why they are hedging their bets on Ezra as the man of the moment. The DC Comics scenario behind The Flash is of an ordinary police science expert that gets inundated by chemicals and acquires the power to act and feel at the speed of light.

Miller came out of the closet about two years back. He also played the role of Patrick in the movie titled The Perks of Being a Wallflower. He showed his face in We Need to Talk about Kevin. And Ezra Miller has been in Madame Bovary to boot.

He has his own musical band which means that Ezra is a smart aleck who doesn’t rely on a single source of income (or fame). And he has a movie titled Trainwreck coming out soon.

Warner Brothers means business by taking on the humongous and backbreaking project of completing ten DC comic superhero films within the next half a dozen years or so. And there are three LEGO movies and three Harry Potter Series which make the number of moving talkies a sweet 16 in total.

This is indeed an ambitious move and it might pay off in a big way for the super entertainment corporation that produces fantastic dreams that hypnotize on the silver screen as well as on the idiot box.
