A rumor says that Belk Stores will open for the Black Friday 2014 sale already on Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day. This would be the earliest start time for in-store sales we have heard so far.

Update: The Belk Black Friday 2014 Ad has been released on October 28. It is the first officially released Black Friday 2014 Ad.

The Belk Black Friday 2014 Ad has not been released yet, but there is a rumor that Belk goes very aggressive on the store opening hours for the Belk Black Friday 2014 Sale.

Last year Belk kept in line with most other retailers and opened their stores on Thanksgiving Day at 8pm for Black Friday.

According to the report on BFAds, Belk will be open from 4pm to 9pm on Wednesday for the Black Friday 2014 sale. It is not known when the stores would open on Thanksgiving Day if they do at all. The Belk Black Friday 2014 online sale is supposed to start midnight Wednesday.

So far we need to treat this as rumor. There is no confirmation yet that Belk is doing this early Black Friday sale or Black Friday preview.
