Apple stores have traditionally not been a big deal to consumers on Black Friday, although this year is going to be changing all of that. In 2013, many analysts said that there was no point in shopping at Apple Stores on the big day, although they have significantly changed their tune when it comes to 2014.
Will The Gift Cards Return?
Don't Miss: Sam's Club Black Friday 2016 Details
Last year, the biggest offering coming from the Apple Store was the sheer number of gift cards available. Analysts are expecting this to continue in 2014. Last year, there were $100 gift cards that came with purchases that may have only had small discounts. Those small discounts are going to be big this year, making the gift cards an even bigger deal this time around. Apple hasn’t said what the amount of the gift cards would be, but you’ll also have to keep an eye out for the other deals that are available to get the best savings.
New Products On Display
There are new iPads coming out in time for Black Friday, but there are going to other products available at a discounted rate as well. The brand new iPad Mini devices are expected to be on sale for $100 off, for example. The new iPad Airs will also see a similar discount. It has traditionally been unlike Apple to offer discounts on new devices like this, but many experts say that there is no reason to think they won’t start this year.
Older models will see very steep discounts, such as the MacBook Air, which is expected to sell for $200 off of the retail price on Black Friday. The 2013 models could reach as low as $650. As for previous iPhones, there are going to be savings of up to 50% on iPhone 5s devices, with even the brand new iPhone 6 phones seeing larger discounts than we have ever seen in the past with new devices.

Virtually every device that Apple has will be discounted to some level. With the addition of gift cards, consumers will have a perfect opportunity to stock up on Apple gear for themselves and their loved ones. Even if you have turned away from Apple stores in the past on Black Friday, 2014 is the year that you can’t miss out on. Given the savings on new products alone, that much is now evident.
