Satya Nadella joined Microsoft in 1992. He was named CEO in February 2014. The new Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is getting paid well by Microsoft revealed a new SEC filing. His compensation package as CEO of Microsoft is valued at $84m. The package is stretched out until 2019 and most is in stock grants that have stock performance ties.

It was also revealed that Nadella received a quite large retention package of $13.5m back in August of 2013. Looks like Microsoft feared he would leave the company. Now Satya Nadella is regarded as a great choice for following Ballmer's footsteps at Microsoft.
