A joint pact between Apple and Alibaba is a future possibility as Tim Cook and Jack Ma will talk about a potential Alipay, Apple Pay partnership this week.
The founding father of Alibaba, Jack Ma, wants to join hands with Apple Pay via his Alipay system. He spoke of how he was quite interested in the whole deal. Ma also said that the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, was a man worth his weight in gold.

After praising the CEO, who was present among the audience, Ma said that a bond between Apple and Alibaba seemed a lucrative proposal. Ma is the majority stakeholder in Alipay. He did not however let on whether there was anything serious going on between Apple and Alibaba.
Apple CEO, Tim Cook too let it be known later on in an interview that he was positively enthused about Ma’s words. He said that the two enterprises were alike in their philosophy and corporate strategy. Moreover, Jack was an intelligent and shrewd man who could really take Apple Pay to the top in conjunction with Alipay.
Tim Cook seemed to be psyched about the negotiations. He has trust in Jack Ma and knows that the man means business. While things are still in their primary phase, the joint partnership may proceed to the practical stage very quickly.
Alipay is currently the #3 payment system on the face of the planet. It was the hope of both Tim Cook and Jack Ma that the two corporations could get together and chalk out a plan that was feasible and most of all integrated in its basic paraphernalia.
Alibaba is not only the #1 shopping online hub but the best e-commerce site to be found for miles and miles. China is the new avenue for Apple. It is a vast market just waiting to be explored fully by the tech giant.
