Microsoft has introduced the new Office 365 which is compatible with not only Windows, but also with iOS and Android.

In the fast-paced world, people use various apps in order to get their work done. But with the introduction of Office 365 they can now get all their work done through one app. Microsoft Office 365 is a secure platform.

It allows programmers to make different application and tap them into the office 365. More than 70 percent of the 500 affluent companies are using Office 365, this gives the developers a vast audience to design apps for.

While giving a speech at Gartner Symposium, the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella said that Office 365 is one of the best Microsoft App. He also said that it is also among the most tactical API for Microsoft.

The Office offers the service providers the ability to manage up to 400 petabytes of data along with various services across Office 365. For example Office 365 integrates a sales automation app or a calendar and contacts for a travelling app. There are numerous possibilities with Office 365.

This new Office app will be very useful for APIs like IFTTT. With the help of Office 365, IFTTT allows you the ability to connect with more than 130 different services including contacts, files and calendar. The IFTTT and Office 365 connection will go live next week and all the users of Office 365 will be able to use the services provided by IFTTT.

In order to make Office 365 easy and seamless for mobile developers, Microsoft has decided to launch new version of iOS SDK. This version of SDK is much better than the one that is currently being used by the developers. This SDK version presently supports Objective-C and in the near future, it will also support Swift.

More than 3.4 million developers have used Office 365 since its first release and one major reason behind this is that Office 365 provides app visibility.  There is a single point access in Office 365 and this makes it very easy for developers to use it. Developers have the ability to make their app visible right alongside Yammer, Outlook or OneDrive.
