According to a Nov. 4 update from Forbes.com's Jesse Lawrence, these Blackhawks tickets have an average price of $277.02:
"It's just 12 games into the NHL season, but the perenially playoff-bound Chicago Blackhawks have already shown cracks in their pads. Following two consecutive losses to the Maple Leafs and Jets over the weekend, the Blackhawks sit at just 6-5-1 on the season. Their schedule won't get much easier over the next several days, either, as they are set to play the (Montreal) Canadiens, (San Jose) Sharks and (Tampa Bay) Lightning through next Tuesday.
"The team's cold start hasn't negatively affected ticket prices on the secondary market for games at the United Center despite their mediocre performance thus far, however. According to Razorgator, the average secondary market price for Blackhawks tickets at home is $277.02, which still makes Chicago the most expensive U.S. team in the NHL this season by a comfortable margin.
"The next closest team to the Blackhawks on the secondary market is the New York Rangers with a season average of $217. As the only other U.S. team with an average price above $200, Rangers tickets are still 21.6 % below the average price of Blackhawks tickets.
"Chicago owes much of its success on the secondary market to three top-priced home games in December against the Canadiens, (Nashville) Predators and (Toronto) Maple Leafs. Each of those games exceeds a $325 average on the secondary market, markting at least a 17% premium over the season average for each at the United Center. The Canadiens travel to Chicago on December 5 and will serve as the most expensive opponent on the Blackhawks schedule at home this season. The average price for Blackhawks vs. Canadiens tickets to the early-December game is currently $338.90 on the secondary market, 22.3% above the season average. The get-in price is currently $108.
"On December 29, the Blackhawks welcome the Predators as their second-most expensive game this season. The average secondary price for Blackhawks vs. Predators tickets is $327.70 and owns a get-in price of $114. The team's third highest-priced game against the Maple Leafs on December 21 has generated similar pricing, with Blackhawks vs. Maple Leafs tickets currently listed at $327.45 on the secondary market.
"While those games will be the most expensive games on the Blackhawks schedule this season, the team's most expensive home game in 2015 will be played against the Bruins on February 22. The secondary average for Blackhawks vs. Bruins tickets is $317.18 with a get-in price of $119. The two teams have carved a notable history together in recent years, going six games in the 2013 Stanley Cup Final and splitting their season series at one win apiece last year."
In other team news, the Blackhawks will sport special camouflage warm-up jerseys during the Nov. 11 home game against the Tampa Bay Lightning in commemoration of Veterans Day, per a press release on Chicago's official website:
"The Chicago Blackhawks will wear one-of-a-kind camouflage warm-up jerseys on Tuesday, Nov. 11, before hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning at the United Center at 7:30 p.m., while coaches and broadcasters will wear camouflage ties. This marks the fifth season that the Blackhawks will wear jerseys, courtesy of Boeing, in support of the USO of Illinois and those that serve or have served in the military, at home and away.
"Each warm-up jersey will be autographed by the player who wore it and auctioned off online, in addition to the ties worn by coaches, broadcasters and players, which will be auctioned off online with an autographed photo. The auction on chicagoblackhawks.com will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 11, and run through 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, with all proceeds benefitting the USO of Illinois.
"The Blackhawks will also host a special military salute during the game in honor of Veterans Day. Through Boeing, 100 tickets were donated to allow these military members and their guests the opportunity to attend Tuesday's game. Many Blackhawks Season Ticketholders and fans also donated their tickets to veterans and active military members. For more information, please visit chicagoblackhawks.com."
