"#Nervous #BigDecisions."

Leah Messer announced that she is leaving MTV's 'Teen Mom 2' after five seasons of the show.
Messer opened up about the news while responding to a tweet online from a fan.  A follower asked the star about the next season of Teen Mom 2, writing, "Are you doing season 6?" Messer immediately responded, writing simply, "No."
Just days before she confirmed her departure, Messer tweeted cryptically about a life change.
"Good morning!" she wrote on Monday, Nov. 17. "Everyone keep me in your thoughts and prayers today! #Nervous #BigDecisions."

Later that day, she added, "Failure does not mean that you'll never get what you want, sometimes failure means that you have to fight harder for something better."

That left fans to go to social media to ask why the reality TV star would give up her gig on the long running series that put her in the spotlight along with a steady paycheck.  The mother of three is leaving the show because she is concerned that the reality TV show life could end up costing her custody of her daughters.

“Leah’s final court date is coming up, and her behavior on the show made her look really bad to the judge,” a source told Radar of the 22-year-old, who is battling ex-husband Corey Simms, 25, for custody of their twins Ali and Aleeah.

Messer has admitted to feeling as if she's a 'druggy' in a filmed conversation with husband Jeremy Calvert, while they played with their 21-month old daughter Addalyn.

“I feel like I’m slurring and I just feel really weird and I’m freaking out,” she said.
Messer's friends have voiced concerns that she may be abusing prescription drugs -- leaving her vulnerable to attack on why she shouldn't have custody of her children.

“We think Leah could be taking powerful painkillers including Lortab and Percocet,” an insider close to the West Virginia native revealed. “They are very easy to get on the streets in her hometown.”

Messer's ex-husband Corey Simms is pushing to have custody of their children after seeing a series of her antics over the course of the summer where she has appeared slurring her speech from taking what Messer calls anxiety drugs over a short period of time.
