Executives Werner Struth of Bosch, John Chambers of Cisco and Neil Smit of Comcast are going to participate in the Fast Innovation: Disrupt or be Disrupted keynote panel at the 2015 International CES as announced by Consumer Electronics Association.

The Fast Innovation keynote has been scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday January 7th at the Westgate Las Vegas. It is expected to be attended by top executives from companies such as Cisco, Bosch and Comcast. David Kirkpatrick, founder, host and CEO of Techonomy will be hosting the event and the CES 2015 keynote event is said to have a discussion about the evolution of the connections between people, business and innovation as enabled by the Internet.
Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA said that he was very excited to hear to what these executives have to say and that he looks forward to their ideas and insights on the future of personalization of services. He explained that the guests have vast experience in this field and that everyone would learn something new from them.
John Chambers is the CEO and chairman of Cisco. He has helped his company grow from a $70 million company to $47 billion in this fiscal year 2014. He has been with the company since 1991 which makes it 23 year with Cisco. Chambers was made Chairman of the board in 2006 along with his CEO role.
Chambers has shown the world that he is one of the best in the business and has earned many awards including the 2012 Bower Award for Business Leadership from the Franklin Institute, one of Barron’s ‘World’s Best CEOs’ and ‘Best Investor Relations by a CEO’ from Investor Relations Magazine three times and many more.
Werner Struth the chairman of Robert Bosch GmbH and has been since January 2012. He is responsible for the company’s activities in North and South America, global manufacturing coordination, investment planning and even environmental protection. He has had a 25 year long career at the company and has been even posted in Germany and Japan.
Neil Smit on the other hand is the CEO of Comcast Cable and EVP, Comcast Corp. Smit had joined the cable company in March 2010 from Charter Communications where he served as the CEO and director. Today he is responsible for all business aspects of the Company’s cable operations at Comcast Cable and EVP. He was once a Navy SEAL and retired from the service as a Lieutenant Commander.
On the other hand the host of this event David Kirkpatrick is the CEO of Techonomy, who is basically a journalist about technology. He also contributes at Forbes and Vanity Fair.
The Fast Innovation keynote is a part of the 2015 CES keynote lineup. There also other keynoters which include the CBS Corp. president and CEO plus other top executives of big companies such as Ford Motor, Samsung Electronics, Mercedes Benz Cars and even Intel. The 2015 International CES will be host to at least 3500 exhibitors who will showcase their latest and newest consumer technology products and services.
