  • Charlie Sheen will be reprising his iconic Boy in the Police Station role from the 1986 comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

His role in the movie was a side character in the movie and made out with Jennifer Grey. He will be playing the same role of the Boy in the Police Station but with Erica Goldberg instead of Jeanie Bueller.

Back in 1986, Matthew Broderick starring teenage comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off was a successful venture with written and directed by John Hughes. The film earned a ‘certified Fresh’ rating back in 1986. The cast was a big part of making the project successful including Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Grey, Jeffrey Jones, Alan Ruck and Mia Sara. The main cast gave some amazing performances. One of the memorable roles in the movie has to be a cameo made by Charlie Sheen.

The then 21 years old star played the role of a juvenile delinquent already present in the police station for some unrevealed crime when Jeanie Grey is brought in for filing a false report. While she waits for the decision about her fate, she gets in a conversation with the boy revealing her suspicions and concerns about her brother.

The boy tells her that Ferris is going to be OK and that she shouldn’t worry. The two end up making out when they are found by Mrs. Bueller when she comes to pick her up. That was all we saw of the boy in the police station back in 1986.

What never would have thought that from all the characters that could return, the character we will be seeing once more from Ferris Brueller’s Day Off is the Boy in the Police Station. Yes, Charlie Sheen, now 49, will be reprising his role on the Goldbergs; the family comedy on ABC, according to People. The main character in the show Barry Goldberg will be pulling of his own Bueller sickness day which will be turning horribly wrong with the involvement of Pops and Adam.

Keeping true to the original idea, Erica Goldberg will be the one ending in the police station. Thus she will be the lucky one meeting in the Boy in the Police Station. Sheen has kept true to the character by wearing the same leather jacket and still smoking a cigarette. We will have to see if making out is an option for Erica and the older ‘Boy’. The episode, in which Charlie Sheen will reprise his role,  will be airing in early January, 2015.
