Facebook launches FaceTube to compete YouTube

  • Facebook has reviewed its advertising style and policies.

It has established that all businesses on Facebook will be offered a featured video strip with the latest videos regarding their business. The videos will be available on the Cover photo menu with different features being developed.

It is common knowledge by now that Facebook is loosing grounds to the newer social media apps available to everyone and the company now has to re-think their whole publicizing strategies. Whether its Twitter or Pinterest or Whatsapp, the messaging apps are definitely grabbing more attention for personalized usage.

In that time, Facebook had to strengthen its stronger aspects and observe the other services that are as old as it is. YouTube has managed to sustain its life and succeeding in these tiring times and even managed to create market for a newer service.

Considering all these factors; Facebook has collected maximum revenues on advertising. Although a lot of users have highlighted annoyance on the pop up ads that they are disturbed with. Facebook has revised the advertisement services a step further.

All businesses, channels and public domain pages are not just going to feature a picture gallery for the advertisement holders, they are going to feature videos. The newer service prototype featured a merged Facebook sign with YouTube called FaceTube, the app will contain videos of the pages holder.

It will feature a belt with previews from the video and even allow them to make playlists in chronological order, videos with most views and videos with most likes. Facebook is also working on in video used features.

They hope to grab users attention by creating a full video ad experience which would be fulfilling and surpass the TV ad trend. Most critics are doubtful of this new endeavor by the company but the people at Facebook remain hopeful of their newest attempt.
