Kevin Hart to Do 2 Shows During Super Bowl 2015 Weekend
  • Kevin Hart will do two shows in Phoenix from Jan. 30-31.
  • The Leather & Laces soiree will be held before Super Bowl XLIX.

Due to popular demand, stand-up comedian Kevin Hart will now do two shows during Super Bowl XLIX weekend at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Az.

Kevin Hart will now do two shows during Super Bowl XLIX weekend.

According to The Arizona Republic's Ed Masley, Hart will do a second show for the "What Now" tour because of popular demand. Hart is currently featured in the Chris Rock-directed film "Top Five" with Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld and Whoopi Goldberg.

Hart has three other comedy films which are lined up this year: "The Wedding Ringer," "Get Hard" and "Ride Along 2." He previously starred in "About Last Night," per Masley.

Hart was featured in the movie "Laugh At My Pain" four years ago which is the feature film version of the "What Now" comedy tour. The movie, which made more than $7 million, propelled Hart to the No. 1 comedian slot at Ticketmaster in 2011. He continued to build on his success the following year, when he became just the second American to sell out London's O2 Arena, Masley adds.

The "What Now" comedy tour will be on Jan. 30 and 31 at Phoenix's Comerica Theatre. Tickets are sold from $59.50-$135 at and, per The Arizona Republic update.

In other news, Masley's colleague, Kellie Hwang, reported on Jan. 8 that the Leather & Laces soiree will return for Super Bowl XLIX. The event will be hosted by Victoria's Secret supermodels Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo and Erin Heatherton.

Hwang, who got word of the event's staging in Arizona from Sunday Super HQ, says the Leather & Laces soiree is also known "for theatrical elements that have included Cirque du Soleil performers, nationally-known illusionists and world-renowned DJs." Performers for his year's event have yet to be revealed.

The Leather & Laces soiree is in its 12th year and will be held at Phoenix's Bentley Projects Gallery. It was at the Galleria in Scottsdale, Az. seven years earlier for Super Bowl XLII between the New England Patriots and New York Giants, which the latter won. The 2008 version of the event was hosted Carmen Electra, Catherine Bell and Roselyn Sanchez.

In another development, ESPN's Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter reported on Jan. 8 that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a strained and slightly torn right calf muscle, a factor which may affect his play during the NFC Divisional Round game against the visiting Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Jan. 11.

Mortensen and Schefter say Rodgers is still expected to suit up for Green Bay despite the injury. The bigger question is how the 2014 NFL MVP candidate will respond against the Cowboys for the right to move on to the NFC Championship Game. A doctor familiar with the injury told ESPN, "There's no question he will play, but there's also no question he will not be 100 percent. The question is whether he'll be 95 percent or 50 percent."

Rodgers was limited in practice on Thursday with head coach Mike McCarthy saying his mobility "looked good," per ESPN. The Packers' next practice is scheduled for Saturday.

The Packers vs. Cowboys NFC Divisional Round game will be played at Green Bay's Lambeau Field on Jan. 11 at 1:05 p.m. ET.
