Cara Delevingne becomes the IT Girl for TAG Heuer

Cara Delevingne becomes the new brand ambassador for TAG Heuer scoping on her “IT-ness” to reach out to the youth.

When a company so traditional and innovative need to reach out the youth, you can rely that TAG Heuer knows how to it in style. They can pull all the stops to bring forth the best.

When it came to reaching out the new generation with a campaign that appealed to the youths bold and brash side while emphasizing elegance and style, they need a face to attach to such a face that is the definition of all the things that they would want to convey.

So at the Salle Melpomène, the most beautiful room in the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris; the company held “Welcome to the TAG Heuer Family” fête. The event couldn’t have been planned at a more prodigious time with the Paris Fashion Week in tow. With 150 journalists to cover the event, who would you expect to walk down the aisle with a magnificent lion leading their gait?

The most magnificent face of this generation itself; Cara Delevingne. The 22-years old model is famous for her social media following and her breaking out style. Her “take me as I am” élan represents her presence in this generation where she is not only recognized for her beautiful face but her bold attitude as well.

Cara goes beyond the boundaries and pushes to deliver a full package exuberating creativity and passion. Cara’s charisma stands by everything the company stands for. Hence Cara was ordained with a wildly exotic and daring welcome with her birth sign, a lion accompanying her.

A daring stunt that could only be attempted by TAG Heuer and only a few who could have taken on the dare, Cara Delevingne proved herself to be the new face of the brand. The attendees were left in awe as she made her way to the stage. 

She was presented with her own TAG Heuer Formula One Steel and Black Ceramic Chronograph set with glittering diamonds by Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer and President of LVMH Watches Worldwide.

He addressed the event saying; “This is always a very solemn moment. The TAG Heuer family is not just an idea; it is a team, with true team spirit. We needed someone disruptive yet elegant like Cara to open our minds to the brashness and boldness of today’s youth. TAG Heuer has set its sights on “it-ness”, and Cara is just the person to help us get there. Thank you for joining the team, Cara, and welcome aboard!”

We will definitely be seeing more of Cara representing the brand at malls and TAG Heuer outlets as she takes the brand to the newer generation.
