UK consumers had been hoping that the Apple Watch will be around for Valentine’s Day but Apple’s Senior Vice President for Retail Sales in Angela Ahrendts says that the date will come after the Chinese New Year. The U.S. price of the Apple Watch will start at $349 and the UK price will come in at, including applicable taxes, £300. A companion app for the Apple Watch with the iPhone has been showcased and Apple is currently working with developers to develop apps for the Apple Watch and its release date.
Early polls have also shown that UK consumers are anxious about the Apple Watch which is on par with the rest of the world. The Apple Watch will be compatible with all of the iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 offerings.
