Kelly Osbourne quits the E! Entertainment’s show Fashion Police after the whole Rancic-Zendaya racial comment debacle is solved and amidst tension with the producers.

Kelly Osbourne quits the E!’s show Fashion Police amid racial controversy. E! released an official statement about Kelly's departure. According to TMZ sources Kelly was already having difficulties with the producers on the E! Entertainments show Fashion Police before the whole Zendaya Coleman incident.

Apparently Kelly was not happy about how the show was being run after the death of central host Joan Rivers. Giuliana Rancic’s racist comment about Zendaya Coleman were apparently the last straw for Kelly as she was already contemplating leaving the show for months and even threatened to quit during the whole incident.

When Zendaya Coleman called out Rancic about her racist comment regarding her hair, Kelly took to twitter to clear her name and display her frustration with co-host Rancic. Kelly declared in her tweets she will not be dragged into the whole Zendaya-Rancic racial controversy and compelled others to to leave the situation to those involved so they can rectify the situation.

In another tweet Kelly proclaimed everyone does realize Zendaya is her friend. Kelly’s temper really started to boil by the looks of her third tweet and she wrote she is abstaining to comment on the ordeal and will not express how she really feels because contractually she is not allowed to, however she will give everyone 24 hours to solve the situation.

In her fourth tweet Kelly Osbourne went full commando mode and declared she absolutely did not make the ‘Weed’ comment about Zendaya and is seriously questioning her decision to remain on the show.

After 24 hours Rancic apologized to Coleman in a broadcast transmission and all seemed well in Kellyland. Kelly even went on to post a tweet about Rancic and Coleman calling them both strong women for having apologized and forgiven the other respectively. Kelly expressed her delight with the hashtag This too shall Pass, but all things did not go back to the way before.

A representative for the Fashion Police announced Kelly’s departure in a public statement. Melissa Rivers daughter of the late Joan Rivers and the executive producer on the Fashion Police wrote on WhoSay that Kelly has always been her friend and is a big part of the Fashion Police family. Rivers exclaimed Kelly will be missed badly on the show and she wishes her all the best for her future but the show must go on as decreed by her late mother.

There has been no statement from Kelly Osbourne herself and no news of her replacement on the show. The Fashion Police returned on air after the death of host Joan Rivers after a long hiatus with additional hosts Kathy Griffin and Brad Goreski. The show will resume its telecast as scheduled on Monday, 30th of March 2014 at 9:00 pm on E! Entertainment.
