Chinese hardware maker Huawei will reveal a Android Wear based smartwatch at the Mobile World Congress 2015 this week. The Huawei watch unveil has been preempted by several leaks.
The Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona will have new stars - smartwatches. Consumer electronics companies will present their smartwatch products at the MWC 2015 ahead of the Apple Watch event on March 9. One of the surprise entries in the smartwatch segment is Huawei. The company fumbled the surprise reveal with an early billboard ad in Barcelona airport that has been seen first yesterday.

The Huawei Watch is surprisingly sophisticated in terms of design. The company tries not to enter the smartwatch segment at the low-end. It trumps the Motorola Moto in terms of sleekness. Huawei tries with classic watch faces to resemble the look of standard chronograph watches. The Huawei watch has sapphire glass, a heart rate sensor, a crown and interchangeable leather or metal straps.
The round smartwatch has leaked in stylish promotional videos over the weekend that Huawei has no taken down. In the videos the company explains the design process and the thinking behind the first smartwatch from Huawei.

The MWC 2015 officially starts on Monday, but big press-conferences like Samsung and HTC are already today on Sunday, March 1.
