Moto X is now available in red Horween leather back looks stunning
Motorola’s Moto X is going to be your very own personalized version of the smartphone as the company is pulling off the customization game quite well. Apart from the colors, the wood and leather backs are something we are all looking forward to and we must admit that they certainly give an exotic look to the phone.

Moto Maker is adding a new color option for the Horween leather back which you can now have in red along with all other existing color options of black, orange, brown, blue, and football red (for Verizon). The upgrade to the red color is going to cost you the same $25 charge which is applicable for the rest of the leather and wood backs. For further customization, you can have your name or any other signs engraved. Moto Maker is also offering additional storage of 32GB or 64GBfor $50 or $100, respectively.
For those who want the red leather option, it is available on all the unlocked models and the carrier-discounted phones which come from AT&T and Verizon. It is slightly confusing to determine the exact shade of the red color in different images. The shade on the promo page looks slightly different; it is brighter than what we can see on the Moto Maker. Though the leather look might look appealing to most of the users, it should be kept in mind that this real leather will give a less durable look as compared to plastic and over time it will wear out as it absorbs oils from your hands.
