From the mastermind George Miller comes the fourth and latest installment of the series. The trailer gives a glimpse of an all star cast including Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicolas Hoult and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and more. Returning to the film is actor Hugh Keays-Byrne is reprising his role as Immortal Joe in the latest movie as well.
Max is being played by Tom Hardy whose voice over reveals “In this wasteland I’m running from both the living… and the dead” and later on “I am a man reduced to one instinct – survival.” Take from this what you will…” In the trailer, Max is shown escaping the Citadel from Immortal Joe with something precious in an old car.
Max has actually escaped taking something with him that is Immortal Joe’s property. The girls it is. Five of them escape the palace in a car which is being driven and navigated by the hardcore looking Charlize Theron in the role of Imperator Furiosa. Charlize looks cool in her almost shaved head look and darkened eyes.
Miller had taken care that she looks very much close to the original Interceptor. Miller told Reuters that her character is “a hardcore warrior with a purpose.” What is much cooler is Charlize doing a headbutt.
Rosie Huntigton-Whiteley is one of the girls named Splendid as well as four others. The girl’s are Immortal Joe’s property and he wants them back. He sends all his hooligans and gangsters to retrieve his property.
Miller has told Reuters that it is essentially a 105 minutes chase across the wasteland filled with thrilling action and awesome effects that will remind the Mad Max fans once more why they had fallen in love with the series.
