Joss Whedon and Kevin Feige reveal whether to expect a post credit scene in theatres like the first Avengers movie.
It was totally unexpected and it was Robert Downey Jr. who actually gave the creators away when he revealed they were shooting a last sequence for the movie two days after it hit the theatres.

People went back to theatres to see what they had shot and the surprise came post-credit when the whole team of superheroes were shown sitting in the shawarma joint Tony had spotted earlier. The scene was simple and clear, the whole crew sitting around the table, quietly enjoying their post alien battle shawarma.
Marvel has created quite a buzz with post credit scenes. Iron Man 2 featured Nick Fury coming to tell Tony Stark that he was a part of a bigger thing. Captain America: The Winter Soldier introduced the Scarlet Witch and Silver Surfer. The post credit scenes keep the audience glued to their seats till the end and give them a piece of what’s to come that keeps them hooked until the next movie.
Avengers: Age of Ultron created a magnificent hype prior to its release with the trailer and the storyline which the comic fans were anticipating. The true movie fans will be going to watch the movie and afterwards watch the post credit scene.
Director Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige have revealed to EW that there will in fact be no post credit scene after the Age of Ultron. This time there will be a clip which will not be a ‘post-post credit’ scene but an unrelated clip altogether.
Whedon and Feige revealed that they had considered filming a post credit scene but they felt that couldn’t top the shawarma scene. They said that it is always considered to do something better than the last and not be repetitive in our tries.
There are often those movies where they do the same thing a little different and it kills the excitement so they didn’t want to do that. Whedon said that they are telling the audience before they expect anything. It will be a real crappy thing if the audience set there for 10 minutes through the credits and no post credit scene turns up. They’ll definitely be like; ‘Son of a bitch, I’ll kill them.’
