The new Cubot X10 is definitely the most interesting phone you would have seen in ages and at least it breaks through the customary chains with not its ruggedness but the very elegant waterproof design. The name might not sound so appealing and Cutout has been missing in action this year but their comeback seems to be amazing with the X10.

The phone is prepared around an alloy frame and it seems to have a fancy glass front and has a rear thickness of only 7.1mm. The water resistance comes from the smart design of the phone which has been made from a unibody and hence provides a seal and makes it difficult for the water to get to the inside of the phone. So far there are no details on how much waterproof the phone is going to be but we can bet that it’s going to be great because the marketing images show the phone sitting under a running tap. The phone comes at a reasonable price of $160.
