Google was perhaps just a bit too excited about the launch of the next Android Wear version and with all this excitement it forgot to tell the world what the latest version number would be. There were some exciting new details on the new version including the Wi-Fi connectivity and the new navigation style and even we forgot that at the end of the announcement we didn’t even know what this new version is called.

It is not every day that you make such an important announcement and accidentally skip such a major part. Even before Sony revealed the tiny detail, many of us had already speculated the new version number to be 5.1 naturally and that’s exactly what Sony has confirmed.
