In case customers don't feel satisfied, T-Mobile will pay for them to shift back to Verizon
T-Mobile is most definitely a fierce competitor in the market and it has been known since long for giving a tough time to its major competitors AT&T and Verizon. One of the most recent threats to the two competitors has been T-Mobile's first quarter financial results. To counter situations, John Legere from the company has always been known to devise aggressive strategies. The company’s latest initiative is targeted towards Verizon and hits their campaign ‘Never Settle’.

T-Mobile is launching the Never Settle Trial which is targeted towards the Verizon customers who will be given the opportunity to try out T-Mobile’s network with absolutely no risks. In their perspective, this is a step towards encouraging the customers to not settle for anything less.
“Last week, I said we would hit right back at Verizon - I meant it. T-Mobile's 4G LTE network is the nation's fastest. Not faster for the price ... just faster, period. With T-Mobile, you don't have to settle for trickery, gimmicks and carrier BS the way you do with Verizon. I'm so confident in our kick-ass network experience that we're footing the bill so Verizon customers can give T-Mobile a try”, said President and CEO of T-Mobile, John Legare.

Though this calls for some effort on part of the Verizon customers too, it will benefit them eventually. The customers are required to port their number to T-Mobile on a new T-Mobile phone and they can then try the services for the next 14 days. After this trial period if a customer feels satisfied with the service then T-Mobile will pay off any Verizon ETF, up to $650, or outstanding device payment. And in case they are not so impressed, T-Mobile will simply have their devices returned back and will pay the customers to return back to Verizon.
