  • Google+ Collections Now Available On Android and Web

The latest Google+ feature was released on Android and Web and this will take on Pinterest.

A similar feature to that of the Pinterest was added to Google+. It is being called the Google+ Collections. With the help of this feature, users can make specific posts which could be centered on a single topic.

This post could comprise of pictures and videos on that topic. Google announced the news of the feature on Google+ post and said that the Google+ Collections is now available on Web and Android. Google also said that the feature would be shortly available on iOS.

The Google+ post said that their happiest users are those that connect with other users. Those are the users that share interests and passions with others. Google said that this Google+ Collections is a place where users can express the things they love the most.

Google said that today they are announcing the Google+ Collections which is a new way to group the user’s posts by topic. Google said that Collections is a set of posts on a particular topic. This topic would provide the users with an easy way to organize the things the users are into.

The users will also be able to share their Collections publicly. You can also keep the Collections private or you can share them with a limited number of people. Once you create a collection, a new tab will appear on your profile.

Other people would be able to find and follow your collections using this tab. You can also now follow other user’s collections. Now the posts in the collections that you have followed will appear on home screen.

There will also be a link present so that you can directly go into someone’s collections. If you want to create a Collection using your PC, you will select the Collections option on the Google+ profile homepage so that you could create a new one. You will need to enter a name for your collection and then choose who should be able to visit the collection.
