Reese Witherspoon’s clothing lines ‘Draper James’ sells out within hours of website launch.
Reese Witherspoon recently launched her own website for the Southern brand founded by her called ‘Draper James’. The site sells clothes, jewelry and purses and within hours of going online several pieces from the collection sold out.

Some of the sold out pieces were worth a $125 for a tank tops and $325 for the purses. News of the site launch was shared by the actress on her Instagram account.
The name ‘Draper James’ is inspired by Reese’s grandparents Dorothea Draper and William James Witherspoon and the collection was inspired the southern upbringing the star received in her childhood. According to Reese she created ‘Draper James’ to honor her past and embrace the beauty of the South today.
Reese shared how growing up in Nashville she realized being overdressed was better than under-dressed and loves Unabashedly pretty stuff. Reese even shared how her best clothing item is getting ready for church in the South and prefers the cowboy boots over heels anytime. According to Reese life is colorful and she likes to blend it in clothes and prints which make her feel pretty and the brand is all about ladylike and timeless pieces.
On the website the foundation of the retail brand has been listed as ‘Grace’ and ‘Charm’. Other than clothing, and accessories ‘Draper James’ also offers stationery, blankets, pillows, and cocktail napkins in its list of offerings. A pencil box of the luxurious southern brand is $14 and cocktails napkins priced at $85.
The company CEO is Andrea Hyde who claims the Southern culture is a rich ecosystem and they have just touched the surface. The site also claims it will even work with Southern artists to promote Southern style and come up with seven questions each month which define the Southern style.
