It was directed by the Australian auteur George Miller. Mad Max: Fury Road broke box office records by raking in over AUS $136.5 million ($US 109.4 million). This of course makes the film the #1 hit on a planetary level. This venture was also a chart topping phenomenon in Australia. It features the rolling stone Max Rockatansky.

But Mad Max: Fury Road is currently topping the global box office with $109,440,000 (Domestic: $44,440,000 + Foreign: $65,000,000), according to Box Office Mojo.
Among the list of versatile actors and actresses in the film may be included: Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. As for the producer it was none other than director himself, that is George Miller.
