Huawei is also thinking about standardizing ICT infrastructure. Huawei believes that it will foster the development of Internet applications which includes IoT apps. The Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer at Huawei said that to address such needs, Huawei is launching its own IoT OS.
This LiteOS will be the world’s most lightweight OS with the size of just 10KB. It supports zero configuration, auto networking and auto discovery. This OS can be applied to different areas including smart homes, wearables, industries and connected vehicles.
This LiteOS will simplify the development of smart hardware to enhance IoT connectivity. The new LiteOS would be made available to all developers. This will allow developers to make their own IoT products. Huawei is focused on developing IoT Infrastructure products and solutions.
Huawei is also looking to collaborate with several upstream and downstream partners to develop industry solutions. The President of Huawei Enterprise Business Group Yan Lida, said that BDII requires close business collaboration and joint innovation efforts between Huawei and their partners.
