Attitude Magazine featured Matthew Lewis as the cover star for its underwear and swimwear issue. He’s grown up. He is a rational young adult by now and knows what is good for him and does not need anyone telling him what he should do. No person his age likes being tied to mommy’s apronstrings.
Matthew engaged in a tough and cruel diet and exercise regimen in order to become fit enough for the cover shoot. He looked absolutely amazing in his underwear and his six pack abs positively glowed in relief. He sure is glad to be rid of the puppy fat he had on him as a kid and an adolescent.
The Harry Potter star said that he was a self-confident man by now and wanted to expose himself to the world. The brave and bold stance took some courage but it was worth it in the end. He however never considered himself to be very attractive. This of course is something all sex symbols, including Brad Pitt, have in common. They are very self-effacing.
As for the shocked reaction of J.K.Rowling, when she learnt of the step taken by Matthew, the less said the better. She said that she had not expected him to be such an out-and-out stud.
When she came upon his photo shoot in Attitude Magazine, she simply couldn’t believe her eyes. Was this the youngster who had appeared in the Potter movies? It was absolutely unbelievable! How he had grown since the days when he was Neville Longbottom!
J.K.Rowling wrote on her Twitter account that he ought to have given her a premonition before she got to see the near-nude photos. She told him to put some second skin on that alfresco body of his.
Matthew responded by saying that he was sorry for the sudden fit of epilepsy he had caused the author’s nerves by his naked images. He also wrote that now he felt awkward indeed. Oh well, you can’t win them all.
