Disneyland is celebrating its 60th anniversary which had been started on Friday on 6 am and will continue for the next 24 hours until the Saturday.

Disneyland will introduce three new nighttime attractions on its diamond celebrations: Disneyland Forever, Disney Paint the Night Parade and water of color.

Disneyland Forever will feature spectacular fireworks which will dazzle the sky with lazers, spotlights and fog. It also includes multi-dimensional projections of characters like Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Mary Poppins, Rapunzel and King Louie from “The Jungle Book”.

Paint the Night is an all-LED parade, combining various Disney characters and music. In the parade, more than 1.5 million LED lights will be flashed manually and songs from the Disney classics such as Beauty and the Beast and Frozen will be played to make the atmosphere more enjoyable and enchanting . Paint the Night will depict several stories and multiple props and performers will be used to explain each story. It will be the most vibrant and brightest parade in the history of Disneyland park.

World of Color will be hosted by actor Neil Patrick Harris and Mickey Mouse and will incorporate 1200 dancing fountains with color, lights, lasers, music, special effects and various Disney characters. The celebrations include Original Disney Theme Park, Disney California Adventure Park, three hotels and Downtown District in Anaheim, California. Restaurants will offer special food and drinks relevant to the occasion of the Diamond Celebration. Plus, hundreds of special merchandise items have been created for celebrating the 60 years of Disneyland Resort including apparels, accessories, home décor, art and toys.

The Disneyland Park was opened on July 17, 1955 and was the only theme park built under the supervision of Walt Disney. Later it was expended to eight themed lands including Mickey’s Toontown, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and Adventureland as well as Disney California Adventure Park set up in 2001.
