The scene then cut to Ed Sheeran the British pop musician who is usually known for his sweet melodies as he sang the heavy metal classic ‘Run to the Hills’ by Iron Maiden. What was surprising about the song was how Sheeran took the heavy metal lyrics and turned them into a nice sounding melody.
The entire performance consisted of dark clouds hovering behind Sheeran on a screen but the performance was surprisingly amazing and Sheeran looked like a pro while singing. As the camera cuts back toFallonl he states the lyrics like the warm blanket which soothes his muscles and bones.
Ed Sheeran then started a rendition of Lim Bizkit’s ‘Dark Stuff’ full of swear words which were promptly beeped out but Sheeran seemed to be having a lot of fun using the words while singing. Over to Fallon he praised the performance by saying it certainly put a smile on his face.
Finally Ed Sheeran sang the song ‘Paranoid’ by Ty Dolla $ign in the skit with his own special sweet twist. The skit ended with Fallon dubbing Ed Sheeran as ‘Death Sheeran’.
