John Stamos was taken into custody from Beverly Hills area after several people reported about an individual driving recklessly
John Stamos, who is best known for his work hit series “Full House” was arrested Friday night in Beverly Hills on the suspicion of driving under influence, according to NBC.

The Beverly Hills Police Department confirms that offices pulled over Stamos near the intersection of Beverly Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard around 7:45 p.m. after receiving numerous calls about an individual who appears to be drunk as he was driving recklessly out of control.

The actor showed officers his driver’s license and identified himself as John Stamos while talking to the officers. Due to a possible medical condition, the 51-year old actor was taken to a local hospital for medical attention, where it was subsequently confirmed that he was driving under the influence. He was placed under arrest for drunk driving but was released to the care of hospital after a citation was issues, police report.
John Stamos took to Twitter when he was home again thanking everyone for their support and the police.

Stamos is due to appear in front of the court on September 11 for further proceedings. No further information about his condition has been provided by the police.
This is not the first time when Stamos was found drunk and behaved inappropriately. Back in 2007, during his appearance in an Australian morning show, he was slurring the words, was making lewd gestures and wandering around the studio in a daze. Later in 2009, he admitted in another interview that he was under the influence at that time. “I’ll be honest. I was drunk.” Stamos said in the interview.

John Stamos started his career in 1982 with soap opera “General Hospital”, playing the role of Blackie Parrish. He received multiple nominations for his character and won Soapy award and Young Artist Award for his performance but still he is more known as Jesse Katsopolis of “Full House”, a hit ABC series which ran from 1987 to 1995. Stamos is set to appear in its sequel “Fuller House”, reprising his role from the original series. The shooting is expected to begin in July and the sequel will premiere on Netflix next year. His upcoming comedy series “Grandfathered” is scheduled to release this fall on Fox.
