The late night show’s hosts took turns to joke about NBC’s decision to ‘cut ties’ with Donald Trump over his anti-Mexican immigrant’s remark.
On Friday NBC announced it had fired Donald Trump from the network as he will no longer be featured in the ‘The Apprentice’ franchise. NBC also announced it will not be broadcasting the Miss American and Miss Universe Pageants, which are helmed by Donald Trump and were previously a part of a joint venture between the mogul and the network.

According to NBC, they decided to ‘cut ties’ with Donald Trump after he gave out anti-Mexican immigrant remarks during his Presidential bid.
Since his firing from NBC, Trump has become the fodder for the late night show’s hosts. During Con O’Brien’s show on Monday night, the host declared Trump has only been in the Presidential race for a week and already the real estate mogul is in trouble.
Conan O’Brien further went on to say Trump isn’t even president yet and he has already made America a better place, since his shows won’t be airing anymore. Conan also made fun of Trump’s remark marriage is between a rich guy and his third wife, stating Trump also meant to reaffirm his anti-gay marriage stance by the statement.
On the other hand the Late Night show host Jimmy Kimmel stated NBC should have cut Donald Trump’s hair rather than cutting ties with him. Kimmel also poked fun at NBC, saying the network did not cancel to broadcast the Miss USA or Miss Universe pageants because they treat women like ‘Cattle’ at a state fair but because of the other anti-Mexican thing Trump said.

Kimmel went on to say NBC wanted everyone to be clear about the reason they were ending their partnership with Donald Trump. "Instead of cutting ties, I wish they would cut his hair," said Kimmel (via THR). "NBC says they will not carry Trump’s Miss USA or Miss Universe pageants because of what he said about Mexicans - and not - they want to make this very clear – not because these pageants treat women like cattle at a state fair. It was the thing about Mexicans."
